This is a blog by a liberal evangelical who loves both science and Scripture. The url? Bible vs. Science? That's just because there's not that many urls left for science and the Bible--I don't think they're opposed at all. :) If you're looking for controversy and comment boards in which to flame the idiots who disagree with you, you've come to the wrong place. I read enough negative stuff on a daily basis I'd prefer to keep my own blog generally more positive, so you'll be reading my rambling thoughts on something cool I read about some new science one day, and something cool I came across in a commentary on Scripture another day. I love conversation so please post your reactions in the comments at the bottom of each post.

As time goes by, my blog site will start to accrue categories of topics that will be organized in the drop down menu up top, such as topics on the book of Job, or topics on inerrancy vs. infallibility and so forth. You can either search for these topics using the search engine or by browsing through the drop down menu.

Place your mouse over Scriptural references to see a pop up window of the text (for example Jn 3:16). Place your mouse over footnotes for geekier asides and details (see image example). The 'Coffee Break Versions' are short summaries of a topic. The 'Geek Versions' have more details and sometimes get into more technical terminology.

    God bless!
